Today we're taking a look at the replacement I-beam bracket for the Lippert Ground Control systems. Now this replacement I-beam bracket is designed for Lippert Ground Control 3.0 systems. It works with part numbers LC358590 and LC675817.This is ideal for eight inch and ten inch I-beams. Now your bolts and hardware, all that is sold separately. So, what you get with this part number is just the replacement bracket.It's made from a durable steel construction. Really nice powdered coated finish keeps it safe from rust and corrosion.
And this is a direct replacement part straight from the original manufacturer.That's gonna do it for today's look at the replacement I-beam bracket for Lippert Ground Control 3.0 systems.
Exact replacement for damaged bracket, no issues.
This was not like original equipment. My original bracket was welded on with a tunnel to allow the roll bar to freely turn the gears to retrieve/extend the slide. This one butted up to the roll bar. My toll bar is square and made a horrible noise while extending the slide. I had to take everything apart, cut an inch off the bracket and remount. I only had white paint and dirty hands when remounting. Although it does not come with any hardware, it would be nice it it did. I pre purchased six grade 8 1/2” bolts to mount the bracket. When the bracket arrived, the pre-drilled holes intended for mounting to the I-beam were 7/16”, not 1/2”. I had to make a trip to exchange the 1/2” for 7/16”. All in all it was a pretty straightforward repair. The repair was made to a 2017 Grand Design Reflection 303RLS.

Unfortunately, it isnt possible for Lippert to manufacture an RV-specific bracket, so therefore it is not surprising that in some cases some modifications would need to be made.
This replacement is better made than the originals on our trailer! Much thicker and better quality.
Very well constructed. It’s a little pricey at 200.00 and would have been nice if the bolts were included.
I had to return part wasn't made for a motor home nice looking part tho
This bracket is advertised as a factory replacement but it is not. None of the holes matchup to the factory Ground Control rear mounts. Ended up having to drill and tap holes. Original hardware is insufficient and will pull out of frame. Replaced with Grade 8 bolts, washers and lock nuts to ensure no premature failure again.

Would you be able to say more on where exactly you had to drill holes?
If the old jack bracket was welded, you'll need a few tools to remove the old bracket and install the new bracket, it would be good to had the 8 bolts ,washers and nuts to the kit for a little extra money instead or running around to get those. Overall it works great.
I put the leveling jacks in my trailer and love them!

Not very well. It wasnt a direct replacement so I had to modify it quite a bit to make it work. Meanwhile, I contacted Grand Design directly and had them ship me the OEM replacement. Your part worked in a pinch, but it doesnt allow for the square tube that moves the slide-out in and out. And my modification to your bracket rendered it unsafe until added support.
Holding up well after a year!

Its been more than a year. Still working perfectly
